I do. I think they add an element that makes tactics important and makes you use all your senses, not just sight.

Never been able to do this as far as airsoft or milsim is concerned.
My IRs got broketed... and never found any NVGs that are affordable, and/or not too flimsy to use in airsoft. ( I do have a toy, that mimics the NVGs... but it's not all that... small viewing area, unable to secure it to head/face to use ... depth way off vision wise.)
I played one Zombie game at night out in OK.
It was not very fun... everyone had light sticks, or Chems... red lasers everywhere, and flashlights...
I stayed in the back just beyond the starting area. I shot "zombies" as I could clearly see their chem lights bobbing around at around 200' or so... none of them ever got close to me, I didn't even get to use my side-arm in that event.
I wound up leaving early, because it wasn't a challenge, and seemed more like shooting ducks in a dark gallery.

Those vids were awesome though!
Loved watching the tracers fly around.

You know I do! 8)

Wow those videos blew me away! I'm going to get a tracer silencer. lol

@Dog
0400 hrs. Assault on Colville. Need I say more? ;)
Could you imagine what the Colville assault would be like if tracer units were on the gear list for EASTWIND? Simply awesome.
-
Yeah man, that would have made it even more crazy awesome.
-
It's awesome as long as you could see each other, I unfortunately know from experience.

Well now that I've played a couple night ops I actually have some input.
So right after I posted that I hooked up with a JG tracer unit. It rocks!!! I also like using lasers at night, since for some reason I've turned into a really lousy shot.
Shooting my guns with these gadgets at night is incredibly fun, but I don't hit anymore people at night than I do in the day (which is basically zero). But it's more fun to try. xD
My biggest problem is that I can't see kuso at night!!! Either the moon's reflecting off my eye pro or it's just too freaking dark! Spray 'n pray is about all one can do.
I will now look into night vision...

I have been steped on at a nite op and most ops I play are at nite they and a new dynamic to the game and sound becomes your new "camo"
