I'm doing a 4x6 gator build for an airsoft vehicle. Much of th build is compleat. I'm wanting some feedback from anyone that has mounted side by side support weapons. I'm using two A and k m249's. I plan on putting a swivel chair in the bed with the gun mount attaching to the chair post. This lets guns swing with chair. I'm removing the stocks and attaching a horizontal box across the back of the receivers to acomidate batteries, and shorten the gun lenths. Made to th back of this box will be a two fisted hand grip with thumb toggles to fire guns independently. I'm using linkage to pull triggers from toggles. The plan is not to take the guns off the gator, but if the vehicle has a breakdown that can't be fixed on the field, I'm not going to rewire the trigger control so that I may dissattach the two guns and attach stocks to use them the rest of the event. I have a plan, but would like to hear any ideas that may be shared. Especially if anyone has ran two guns together. Don't say minigun. I'll share pics from photobucket real soon if there is intrest in this project. I will tell you this thing is sick! Lots of custom built 440 stainless steal. I can't wait to field this thing!

You can do an old WW2 set up with duel guns. just set it up to move and you use both hands to fire it.

Hey if you can afford a Gator...
Anyways I love airsoft vehicles, my team has looked into it many times. :)

Always an awesome thing to see on the field, and sounds like you are on the right track. The toughest part is going to be finding fields that will allow it to be used in game.

I looked at that set up, and I believe the vertical movement of the gun would be hard to achieve with the mount touching your torso from a seated position. That mount would be better in a standing position. That picture is awesome looking though!
If you have teams in your area that host annual events, there's a good chance you would be welcome to bring airsoft vehicles. I have a couple events here that host on large properties and love having people bring out there rides. I will do a long drive event about one time a year with mine. The rest of the games I take it to will be within my home state. One game admin I talked to had some good ideas of how to include the gator as an objective for both sides to fight over and gain control to use for call in strikes. That would put me playing on both sides during that game. One thing for sure, it's going to be death before dismount, so I won't need a primary unless there's a breakdown.

Vehicles are welcome at CAMO events as long as it is coordinated beforehand. Special rules and such will be followed.
