Title: WTB AK Furniture

I'm in need of a few things to finish up my Echo 1 Red Star RIS AK-47.

First off, I don't really like the so-called "ergonomic" or "tactical" pistol grip. I like the standard shape much better. I need a regular AK-47 grip in black. I might also take a SAW style grip if i find it comfortable enough.

Next I would *like* a plain black handguard for when I don't want any rails, but still want the all-black look.

Finally, to finish my AK's versatility, I need a wood kit. Either real dead tree or plastic that looks good is fine with me, as long as the price is right.

Please let me know if you have any AK furniture you think I might be interested in. I'll be at Operation Mishko this weekend.

Edit: I'm also looking for an AK-47 flash hider/thread protector. Thanks.

I think I can scrounge up a standard, black AK grip.

If Joe doesn't have one, I'm positive that I've got one. I'm a huge fan of the 249 style grips myself, so all my AK's have the standard grips removed in favor of those. Even my real steel AKM74....

Ok awesome. I'll be wearing BDU's and have a Serbian flag on a flagpole.

The nice thing about my AK is that I can take off the handguards by only removing one screw, so we can test fit. Plus I have a dremel at home so minor modifications should be no problem.

I have wood handguards that I removed from my recent AK project. I also have a slew of original style black/plumb motor grips. I should have a full stock (plastic) laying around as well.
