Ok fella's I have putting some gear together for a UMP speed loadout for cqb. The thing is I will not be wearing like a vest or anything but i will be matching everything as much as possible. So I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on a dropleg platform. What I am thinking is I will be useing a Double shoulder holster, dropleg platform with p90 pouches. I am planing on carring 2 glocks in the holsters and 2 mags for my UMP in the dropleg. Now i do not own a dropleg holster so i have no idea how comfortable they are and how much it hinders your movment.
I am just looking for some input and seeing if anyone could help me make sure this is not going to kill my playstyle. A lot of you have played with me so you know what to expect on what would help and wouldnt... and pls don't say not to run around like a mad man. I have already heard from enough people that I am a little crazy with how i move.

Almost all drop legs set very low. That was always me complaint with them. So low in fact that they interfered with my knee pads. The fact that they sit so low means that you almost have to bend your torso a little to get access to what you have on there. All this being said, it's the drop leg pannels mostly and just a few holsters.
For a drop leg holster, I've fallen in love with my G-Code Mule and XST holsters. Their holsters are kydex, so the fit is amazing. The pannel, or the 'Mule', is also kydex and and an elastic band for you leg but sits plenty high on your kit so that it doesn't interfere with anything. This being said, the whole setup costs a pretty penny. I think mine ran me just under $100. Then again, they're meant for real steel and that's also what I use mine for.
As for a drop MOLLE pannel, again how low they sit is a big factor for me. Most companies like Condor or Vooodoo make pannels but they are big and flop around when you run. I even have a pannel made by a private gear maker here in the US that is probably the worst one I've ever seen. It's way too big and only has one strap for my belt and one strap way at the bottom for my leg. Seeing as you a lulu want to carry 2x mags for you UMP on the pannel and those mags are terribly long, you'll want small, lightweight, and high riding. Look at an HSGI Mini drop leg pannel or an OSOE 3x6 mini pannel. Both of these are very minimal in size, ride high and have some sort of elastic in the leg band for comfort. I personally own the OSOE pannel and love it. Both of these are American made products, so not only is the quality very high, the price may be a little higher than what most are used to seeing/paying.
