Title: GBB Machine Pistols
Post by: Boba Fett on April 28, 2011, 07:05:19 PM
I was wondering what everyone thought of the GBB machine pistols. I'd like this topic to stick to actual pistol-framed guns, not MP7's, MP5k's, or UZI's. Mac-10's and Mac 11's, and Micro UZI's are fine. Besides those, the main guns that come to my mind is the Glock 18c, the M93 Raffica, and the Xtreme .45.

Which do you think are best? K-cube makes a full metal Xtreme .45, what brands make good M93r's and G18c's? Is there even a Micro UZI airsoft gun?

i dont know if you'd consider a mini-uzi one, its pretty small, but KSC makes a CO2 powered mini uzi. i wish i could find that WA mini uzi again. :/

my KWA M93r is amazing and it has a fully automatic function for fun along with the 3 round burst and it also comes with a VERTICAL grip

You mean the built-in folding one? Yeah I love those. I'm considering getting one as my only gun, since it would serve multiple functions.

As soon as the KWA G18C I bought from Pup arrives, I'll have 2 of those. They're excellent as far as reliablility goes. On full auto they can get a little hard to control to maintain any kind of accuracy at longer ranges (25yds for a pistol is pretty far for most). The KSC version shoots at pretty much the same velocity, but has a polymer slider with full trademarks. Honestly I could take or leave the trademarks, but the KSC with the lighter slide has a higher cyclic rate which is kinda cool.

I also have a HFC M190 Special Forces. It's thier wierd way of saying iit's a select fire M9. So far it's been a really good gun even though I really don't like M9's that much. It's cyclic rate is kinda slow on full auto in comparison to my G18C and it doesn't have an adjustable hopup. I just shoot .25g's in it (when I'm not at SOGO) and it shoots very good and to point of aim. It's a little heavy being a full metal pistol, but not too bad. This pistol has become a pretty good addition to my arsenal with the release f WE's 50rd magazine for M9's. I of coarse got one pretty quick an it works great.

If they never made any airsoft Glocks and I wanted to get a machine pistol, it would be a M93. But if you're willing to wait a while and do some searching, I strongly suggest the KWA/KSC Glocks for a machine pistol choice. They're by far the lightest overall, and the build quality is amazing. The only drawback to the Glocks is that they're not shipped to the US anymore, so if you were to need parts you'll have to call KWA's amercan supplier to order parts which may or may not be expensive.

Really? I was told that the HFC M190's weren't very good. Have you ever had any problems with yours? I love M9's, so I have been leaning in the direction of the KJW M9. But if I could get a good select-fire one, that would be more multi-purpose.

I mainly just bought mine because I had the chance to get it real cheap. So far the only issues I've had with it is I played at som local chat (gravel) piles west of Joplin and it got allot of sand in it and practicaly killed it. All it needed was to be extremely thuroughly cleaned out and oiled. Since that I've used it at SOGO and other events with no troubles. I was really suprised to see how well it worked and how accurate it is. I might have gotten a really good one amungst a bunch of junkers. I couldn't really tell you honestly because this is my first and only experience with HFC. I think I paid $50 for it.

There's one that's not too bad priced seeing as it comes with two mags and a can of green gas. I don't think I'd pay very much more than that for one though, but then again I'm not much of a M9 fan.

So Are there any larger machine pistols(Mac 11's, MP9's) with So Go FPS limits and high ROF's?

Some of the KWA machine pistols are way over the limit. Most MP7's shoot around 350fps with .20g's which would pt you 15-20fps over the limit with .25g's. Allot of the MP9's chrono at almost 400 for the first 5-10 shots then settle down to about the same as the MP7. I'm not sure about the MAC's  or the TMP's. If you like the idea of one of these larger guns you're probly gonna have to look at KSC only instead of KWA. KSC guns are made for use in Japan which means they can't shoot over a certian velocity no matter what kind of gun it is. That velocity just so happens to be pretty much right at the SOGO limit. I've seen several videos of the KSC MP9's and they have a really good ROF and do in fact chrono low enough for SOGO use. Problem is though, that I'm not sure if the KSC is very compatible to the new KWA NS2 mags. They'll more than likely fit, but I don't know if they'd make the gun shoot hotter or not or even add stress to the gun.
