Has anyone heard of one in development or something? I got to watching Future Weapons again and it came on. All I could think about was how useful it'd be in the CQB.

KWA had a poll about it on their forums a couple of years ago, but I haven't seen anything since.

the rights to the design i bet are expensive

Nothing Beats the "run, slide, stop, and shoot your team-mate around a corner" maneuver.... :)

Agreed, Dragon. That was the exact move that got me shot in the neck at the last night event. I saw the cornershot system on an episode of Futureweapons, and of course, thought of using it in the cqc. It seems ideal, so long as all the screens and lenses were protected, and the body material could take being hit. Looked like it was all polymer, from what I could tell. That stuff's plenty tuff, but I don't know that it's what theye'd use in an airsoft reproduction. If you're on the Forbes 500, you could get the real one, make lexan shields for it, and drop your G17 right in. I think they run about $3k. Personally, for that much cheddar, I'd rather have one of the vulcan mini-guns. "Ol' Painless is waitin'." hahaha

Dragon: LOL.
The German Army already had a similar device in 1944.
