I have decided to sell off my HSS Gear Weesatch modular plate carrier. The ONLY reason I'm selling this is because it's just too big for me, meaning it doesn't fit correctly. This is easily the most versitile piece of kit I own. It has integrated pouches in the front that are supposed to be able to hold 12x M16/M4 magazines along with 2x utility pouches on the sides. I'd like to not that the magazine pouch area can hold ANY kind of magazine. Each pouch area has a velcro pull tab to keep the mags or whatever in the pouch. I've carried all kinds of grenades and even pistols in these pouches. The utility pouches can serve very well as dump pouches and can be accessed by opening the velcro flap or by a double elastic opening in the top. This rig is currently in an 'X Harness' chest rig type configuration with the upper bib folded down. the rear pannel can easily be added to make a very breathable plate carrier or you can fold the bib back up along with the rear pannel for maximum MOLLE real estate. The magazine pouch area can even be velcro-ed shut by using the flaps to hold the mags in, thus changing the rig to a flat front pannel to which you can add any kind of dedicated pouches to. This rig can house medium or large SAPI plates and the rear pannel even has an internal separation flap that I suppose could be used to separate a plate and a hydro bladder. This rig was made far before HSS originally went out of buisness and is not in relation to the new 'J Tech' name which is made overseas. This is the REAL DEAL stuff. I'd really like to get $80 out of it.
