Oakley Comes Through!
« on: October 25, 2012, 10:43:06 AM »
For all of us who have been issued Oakley ballistic M-frames, or are Oakley fans to begin with, they are coming out with a full-seal kit that would allow us to use them for airsoft. Our good friend Bonk supplied the link:

Pretty sweet! I have a pair of WileyX's that closely resemble the Oakley M Frames. On another note, Wiley X has come out with a side brand that I believe is called 'DX' and should start showing up at larger grocery store chains with optician services. I'm not sure if they're US made or not, but it would be something to look into.

Are they ballistic rated like the Wiley's as well?

Another good choice is the Smith Optics Elite Boogie Regulator. These bad boys were designed for military HALO jumps and says on the box that they are mil spec. I also use them for motorcycle riding. With their impact resistance I bet I could even use them as shooting glasses. Good vent, no fogging.
