11.1 Lipo and Fuses
« on: May 03, 2013, 04:43:15 PM »
I recently acquired a KWA SR12 and it came wired to deans. So instead of buying a normal battery wired to deans, I tried out an 11.1 lipo battery. It worked phenomenally, until my gun stopped firing and the motor just made a bone chilling sound. And to top that off, it wouldn't fire afterwards. The fuse had blown and as far as I know, the motor alignment went off. I also plugged the battery into my G&G Scar-L and the fuse blew on it, but everything else is still fine. My question is, is it possible for me to do something to where I can still use an 11.1 lipo on my guns and not blow the fuses? Or switch to a 7.4? I haven't fooled around with lipo's a whole lot so any info/feedback is appreciated!

I've been doing a little research, though I am still unfamiliar with most things about lipo's. I also forgot to mention that my 11.1 lipo is 2200 mah with a 25c discharge rate.
