So Go Airsoft Springfield location permit issued

Well we have the major permit from the city.  A Long Hard road to this point.  We have only been trying for 3 1/2 years to get a place in Springfield that didn't cost an arm and a leg.  And could actually handle Airsoft.  The address is up on E Pythian just past the Rock Climbing place. (Which those guys come down and play at our Ozark location all the time)  In fact they are the ones who introduced me to the guy who has the place we are going into.  And added to that the owner of the building also plays Airsoft (Now)  You guys have welcomed him nicely.

Anyway we are planning to open the place up for Private parties towards the middle of the month.  But also do an open house type of deal around that same time so everybody can see it. (and maybe play a little)

We have almost 3000sqft of space in the front with multiple party rooms and player  prep area that is completely AC'd and Heated.
The play area is more than we have right now but less than I wanted but there is plans to expand that in the future.  Lets just get this opened and have another great place to play.

Congrats on the new bilding I played all day today in the heat and I think I speek for everyone when I say I can wait to play in the ac and support the new place

Again, thanks for toughing it out yesterday.  I heard it was a good day with decent players.  Hope the ice cream helped!!!
I did post on our facebook page.  That anybody that came out and played in that heat would get $10 off the next event.  Just want to say thanks for that.

As for playing in AC in Springfield.  We will probably take the edge off the playing area but not have AC on all the time.  Just because of the cost involved.  We want to keep it affordable for you guys to play.  And I was talking about the front area being all AC'd.  And they are HUGE units that do very well.  If I have my way about it respawn 1 will be in the front area giving a place to cool down for the player in the game.

Well here is an update on the Springfield So Go Airsoft.  With Jesse getting injured in Afganastan the day we signed the lease has really put us behind schedule.  But with that said Jesse is getting better everyday which also helps us get back on track with the 2nd location.  We have the first set of 16 camera's up and running now.  This covers the front area(s) like all the party rooms, briefing rooms, check in area and store area. 
Tomorrow we are getting things picked up for the party rooms and hopefully getting the wood and materials ordered for the actual playing facility.
