OK.....so....
I was looking at it (and possibly cussing at it) and it dawns on me......boil it. So I get a pot of water, get it to a boil then pour it in a coffee cup, dip the hider in and let her soak (I had already taken the hex screw out{the problem was the glue and a tiny pin which would not come out}). I put a screw driver in between the slats of the flash hider and gave it a good twist and loe and behold she came right off.
I am now the proud owner of a installed suppressor. (which btw doubles as a sound amplifier because there is a front plate that screws off, thus exposing the chamber)
