Hey, kids! Your favorite old detective just popping in to report on the evening's frivolities!
First off, I just wanted to say that I had a wonderful time shooting and looting with all you awesome guys and girls! I rocked out my western/Justified loadout and I think it was a hit! Plus, I do believe everyone enjoyed the new CD as well! All in all, I enjoyed the heck out the night event!
However, there were a few small things that did bother me. These have nothing to do with Jon, Lynn, or any of the other fine staff at SoGo. No, this has to do with the players themselves. Guys, if you can't relax and have a good time shooting at each other without turning it into a pissing contest over uncalled hits or doing ridiculously unsafe close shooting, then perhaps it's time for you to take a break. When Jon has to call a ceasefire and personally make an announcement about it, that's a problem. Within 5 minutes of the first game, I saw people getting mad and cussing and being stupid over little things that don't matter. I know everyone wants to be the super assault ninja that gets mad kills, but it's supposed to be about honor and sportsmanship and having a good time with friends, not screaming at someone to call their f-ing hits. So take a chill pill, relax, and make the game fun again. There's no need for that stuff, so leave the bad attitudes and aggressive nonsense at home. Ghost (Chris?, sorry I am terrible with names) got shot point blank by someone who never owned up to it and had a nasty bleeding wound at the end of the night. That's completely ridiculous and I don't want to see that kind of stuff keep happening. Be safe and aware out there.  End Transmission on that point.
It was awesome seeing some old friends and fellow shooters again, and I very much look forward to seeing all of you again soon.
Joe, you are always a riot and it's always good to see you.
Tang, it's been far too long, gotta get you on the field again lol.
Jon and Gene and Lynn, thanks for putting on great events and being so much fun to hang with, I'll keep coming back until airsoft has gone the way of the dodo and we are all playing with Star Trek Holodeck guns. And then I'll just start up a new league there!
To the staff, paid and volunteers and refs, thanks for your patience and keep on being awesome!
To all the cool new people I got to talk to, I'll see you all again soon!

Mcclane, it was good to have you out there! Thank you for pointing that out as well, it only takes a couple of players with poor sportsmanship or bad attitudes to ruin the fun for everybody. That being said, to all players make it a point to not be that guy!

It was so good having you guys and girls out.  McClane you are so right!!!!  We have to keep this thing fun and safe.  We are an Airsoft community ourselves.  We need to all learn to work and play together like we are suppose to.  Since we might just all be on the same team for Larger events.  What we do is practice everytime we play.
If you find yourself getting mad, just go set out for a moment.  BREATH and realize that there is always another side to the story.  And we are all friends that love the same thing.
Thanks alot of the CD McClane.  Alot of compliments on it.  But more importantly we just love having you around.  We miss the old days when you use to live close.
We did have alot of new people from surrounding areas and they were all great and hopefully coming back.  It was really good meeting and talking with everybody about helping grow Airsoft in their areas.
Again Lyn and I (plus Gene) just want to say thanks to everybody for their support.  With 2 places it is a challenge for sure.
Hope everybody has had a great 2012 lets all make this a great 2013 for Airsoft.
Thanks
Jon and Lyn

Well said from McClane, Jbagel, and Jon. I am not going to repeat anything that has been said, but this sport is meant to be fun!

McClane, it was awesome to see an old face at the store again. Sorry that I wasn't able to play, but hopefully next time I'll see you on the field. Can't wait to hear the new CD and see the next outfit when you come out next time. Always loved the cool outfits, my favorite has always been John McClane outfit (HEHE). Until next time, we'll be missing you around here.

I myself had tons of fun... its been a bit since i have been down there to enjoy the company of everyone. I am glade that it was this event that i went. Oddly enough i didnt even think about this event when i was planing on going to SoGo i just thought a bunch of friends and would just go play... it was actually brian's idea to go play down there. On the note of not beating a dead horse... everyone knows what happend it got fixed... shouldnt have happened in the first place. The best part of the whole night was that i found out that springfield slides go on a little bit further then ozark lol... there was a time i wanted to slide behind the pallet stack and ended up at the wall by the long hallway lol. Anyways i still had a blast
