M4 upgrades Ideas?

Ok guys i just got(in the process of being made) a new m4 i asked jon a bunch of questions but i dont want to bother him to much so i am asking everyone:
What there opinion of the essential Upgrades(External) for an m4? Ex. Scopes, Red Dot, Rails, forgrip, foldable forgrips etc...

Well personally if I had an M4 for CQB, I would put rail guards on a railed hand guard. And a Trijicon or EOtech on top. Maybe a laser on the left and a flashlight on the right for dark environments.

An optic that works with your face protection.

I like holding the magwell, and I have a vert grip with a pressure switch  on it for my light that's on my rails. Find out what's comfortable for you.

I like the foregrip idea for sure. I have one on my 552 and i wouldnt live without it to be honest. I mean the second best thing i was thinking about was for sure a red dot but... i dont know i will deffentely have to look up some more upgrades

Is this for CQB? Short front kit if it is.

Like i said, if you get a red dot, make sure you can use your mask, or else get a riser. I have a rail that attaches to the carrying handle. So it keeps it at a good height for use with a mask. However, it looks ugly (IMO). Ive now switched to flip-up sights (dremeled off my front sight) and am looking to co-witness something through it. But that m4 is for outdoors. (and for me this is more for aesthetic value, I'm not much of a believer in optics for airsoft)

But as far as "essential" upgrades... none. if you can use your sights(or shoot instinctually), and its comfortable. You're set IMO. But airsoft isn't about "essentials"

So it seems that first thing is going to be Foregrip... hopefully i can do some other stuff to it.

Rail guards.
If you have metal rails and every play bare-handed or with fingerless gloves then i cannot recommend these enough.
Try magpul segmental rail guards, they can fit around any forgrips and keep your fingers from getting caught in the rail

But we still haven't established what you are modifying your m4 for, cqb or field.

Ok my M4 is being modified for CQB... so i am thinking of upgrades for this. Aimpoint scope... forgrip... dont know really what kind of RIS i wants though.

ya a foregrip is always helpful in cqb as is a red dot, but I wouldn't fecommend an inclosed sight.... get one that is open. It will help you to not only see your sight but whatever is around you as well......
thats my opinion at least..... last time I was in they had a pretty nice open red dot in at sogo....
