WE 1911
« on: October 23, 2010, 08:29:20 PM »
I dont know where to put this but one of the 2 mags (the spare to be exact) that came with my replica sticks. it is hard to put in but works fine then i have to push down on it from what would be the shell ejection while pressing the release to eject the mag. other than that it was a great purchase. cant wait to use it in an op. but this extra mag problem might make it hard to enjoy. Any help would be appretiated

Hard without seeing exactly what it is doing.  Seems odd that it would do that.  But with that said.  I have seen stranger things and sometimes there is a real easy fix.

ive played with it a little and it starts sticking right at the very bottom of the mag right at the last 3mm. there seems to be no difference in the two mags. i dont want to mess with it to much.

Perhaps a shot of silicon spray on the spring of each magazine?  Then work the spring to distribute the oil?  Won't hurt your mags at all and it's good maintanence.

Did you buy the gun new? Are you sure that both mags are completely the same? I would take dial calipers and measure both mags in the same spots. Their has to be a reason one fits better than the other.

The WE is a popular gun, you should be able to find somebody on here that uses the same mags that you could meet up at SOGO. I can always bring my dial calipers next time I drive down if you don't have some available.
haha you're right, I was an idiot last night.

no i didn't measure they i shall try that.
After some use they both fit nicely and slide out easier.
