i like the OD look. then you can go as green team anywhere from a WWII on up through vietnam, and they make newer tac gear in OD so you can go with more modern scenarios that are a little looly based.

I love my coyote brown gear. Thought about OD before, but CB just goes with everything. even looks good on snow gear!

As for BDUs/clothes, black or W/D MARPAT is pretty good. But Japanese Type II camo dominates.

Shaggy, I totally agree
Blufor which is mainly your good guys in an American theme based operations that Midmo does.
MARPAT is the way to go.

Other than that I just got my DCU's and love my opfor uniform.

I'm fixin to purchase some TRU's in Desert Digi ( Marpat) and Woodland Digi ( also Marpat) Those two are my faves.. If i had to pick one it would be the Desert Marpat, tho. I'm about to buy some Magnum Boots in black, so having a good pair or two of woodland-ish fatigues is crucial... damn my indecision! currently i use a knock off set of digital multicam BDUs. Its definitely a unique looking pattern but the uniform itself is of crap quality manufacturing. Thats why from now on I'm only shopping either Propper or Tru-spec, because they are the best.

Here's pics of the JGSDF Type II's, since I bet none of you have seen them unless maybe on the news after the disaster.

Oh what I would give to get my hands on a uniform! Unfortunately I have never seen any Type II for sale ever.  :( ???

Dont' get me wrong here guys I've used ALLOT of different kinds of cammo, but I have to say that witout a doubt that Multicam is the single most effective cammo pattern I've ever seen. It litterally does almost seem to adapt to environments and varying light conditions. I still like my DCU and Woodland stuff, heck I even like VN Tiger Stripe, but Multicam is just plain better. I am VERY interested to see the new Propper ATACS desert cammo in actoin at OKI6 seeing as the TCC team is only allowed to wear that cammo.

Extremely true Metal. I hate muliticam's look and don't think it's cool, but I believe it's the best out of the supposedly "universal" camouflages.

That being said, until the Japanese finish their "chameleon" color-changing camo fabric, there will not be any one camo pattern that will work for all environments. there are just way too many different terrains and weather on this planet.
