Ok I'm preparing to paint my 1911 because im going to sell it and I have a few consept drawing that I was wondering if I could get feedback on so tell me what you think of these colors and ill post pics of the 1911 when its done with being painted.  These drawings are not very good the just to see what it might look like.

alright at the night event i got a few more votes on the coloration OD Tan = 0 OD Tan Black = 1 Tan Black = 4 and OD Black = 13
So unless a bunch of people vote for another color OD Black is the color

sorry I havent posted anything about the 1911 yet (a bit busy with school) I have the upper, hammer trigger some of the lower and a few more pieces mostly sanded I will be painting the upper soon I just bought new primer and the grips have been painted except for the "novak's" emblem in the middle it looks cool with them not painted and ill post pictures soon hopefully after the upper is painted.

ok made a push this weekend and as of now i have all the parts sanded and prepted for paint im taping and using some sticky tack to cover unpainted areas and i will have some primer on by tonight hopfully!

ok so iv got most of the parts painted with the exeption of the outer barrel which i just decided i was going to paint instead of leaving it as is and here are some pics.

I painted the parts that need to be painted so I didn’t paint the parts that go internally so that is why some of them don’t seem to be completely finished if I do paint them they might not go back together correctly and/or smoothly.  I will wait till the end of the week before I put the flat clear coat on top (the directions for the paint say to wait 7 days but because of the way I am drying them im gona do it a little sooner).  I have to do the outer barrel still and paint some white paint on the sights for better visibility.  I will also blue locktit everything when I am done including the suppressor. Give me some feed back on what you guys can see now.

alright project almost complete all parts are painted and  I have painted the sights a little so they pop out a bit more than before.  The flat clear coat on it I just have to let dry probably another day or so to get the full protection out of it and then ill blue loctite everything and put it up for sail.
here are a few pics of what it looks like for not (the clear coat is dry enough to handle at this point)
