AEG are just more reliable all around because they don't take as much maintanance and like you guys said, AEGs don't have issues in the Winter. Then again, that's still my opinion and who cares about my opinion.

It didn't look cold there and I've been to Scotland and when it's cold, you absolutely know it's cold. You couldn't see anyones breath and they were wearing fairly light clothing from what I've seen out of a real Scotish soldier.

i personally have not a lot of experience with aegs (Evans helping me change that) but with gbbs at least the pistols that ive worked with (we1911, TM 1911, KWA glock, KJW glock, KWA USP compact, a little with the KWA p226s and M93rs) i have had very little problems but i have seen problems with aegs and the gbbrs such as stripped gears or for the king arms gbbr m4 from what i understood an internal part of the blot kept breaking consistently on all of them so i am all for gbb handguns but a little iffy on aeg or gbbr just on the fact that i know how to work on a gbbr better than an aeg.

Actually if we all didn't mind carrying around an HPA tank, that would totally eliminate the problems GBBR's have in cold weather due to the fact that HPA doesn't require a state of matter change to make the gun work.

http://youtu.be/Tnugvih1Ttg WE GBBR's can be modified to run off of HPA

only problem is that the gas gasket on the top of the mag gets hard and can jam the gun when its very cold i has happend to my tm 1911.  so I can see this being a problem if the tolorances are very tight for the bloback chamber and the gasket.

j man 3 made a good point gas and winter dont mix i relly messed my excelerator up in the cold at a night skirmish and its basicly 160 bux waisted so for out doors i would prefer an aeg thats why i have 7 of them and only 5 gbbs but it would have been easyer to vote if there would have said what would prefer for outdoor or indoor use.
