Dragon here, from Team Delta 9 ... Location NWA AR/SW MO area.

Some of us drive up to Sogo's for the first weekend a month event day, which is about a two hour drive for us, but it's fun, and we love the trigger time.

Supercell said for me to join up here and make some post for field play , for down this way... so, here I am.

I'll detail the field play idea in another thread!
For those that don't know me... to well,
I am actually kinda new to Sogo's , only have gone twice.  But I have participated in many airsoft games/small events for out-door play.
I'm the guy that comes up with Cody and Chris when they go for CQB.

Forming a team down here ( amazingly there are lots of teams and players in our area, just no fields yet really! ) , and with any hope are going to get something off the ground for outdoor play around here.
It's been slow going the past few months...

But we are now trying to make things happen.

well, hope everyone rolls over and checks out my next post somewhere down the list there...

The exact location we are still working on. ( I don't know the name of the small community the field is located at, I only know how to get there by driving currently. )

We are based out of Bella Vista Arkansas, very close to the MO border here. The field is about 7 miles north of Bella Vista in MO... and that's the target area we want to hold trigger days and events in.
It's about 100 acres we can choose and pick playing areas from, and have special permission to do airsoft events there.

Just in case we have a few other locations right here in Bella Vista we have permission to use. They just aren't as big, and in my opinion not as great terrain wise.

I started a thread on it down below.... and will update it as soon as I get more intel from my other Team Members and Team Leader.

My name is Stephen and I have done a few games at SoGo but have not been back in a while because of some money concerns. I have played countless field matches with several friends and have set up several matches at my house. I have a simple full metal M4 Carbine by Dboy with a dis-functional 5000 round Box mag for it. Looking forward to several matches with you guys and also looking forward for a short M203. I have a team of about 5 people who somewhat regularly show up to airsoft events. I you need anything or you have questions send me a message. Started Airsoft because Paintball was a little on the expensive side with the CO2 and paint.

LOL.  I LOVE your signature line!  Just remind me to steer clear of you in the CQB.

You're not the only person with a paintball history here.  I don't hate paintball or look down upon it; I just prefer airsoft at this point in my life.

Welcome aboard, Black Fox.

My name is Zakk and I'm part of the West Plains group. Got into airsofting after getting bored with paintballing. Love airsofting though and wont stop til I drop. lol Known as Honky on the field. As of now I'm rocking a Echo 1 G36c (currently has a Classic Army motor upgrade,9.6v battery, and hoping to futher upgrade with a mock silencer, tight bore, 11.1v lipo, 130 cut down spring, rail kit, green laser, holographic sight, and eventually a beastly set of Systema gears.) Any questions pm. Peace fellow airsofters.

<At> Honky ,

Quote
130 cut down spring,

It's a waste to clip a 130 spring really. i'd just drop in a 110 , should be right under 300 FPS using .25s then.
or clip the stock 120 in it.  130 if a big jump in power , and is pretty tuff on motors and gears.

< At> jesse ,
pleased to meet you. Hope to see ya at Sogo's sometime... and it's cool.  I don't take it easy on anyone despite age... i've gotten bested by those your age before, under-estimating them. lol.

To Dragon,

The 130 spring will not affect the gears as much as you think. The wear and tear will increase yes, but as stated in the intro I plan on upgrading the internals anyway. As a "G36 Guru?" you should infer by the list of upgrade I eventually want my G36 to be a straight field only gun. Lipos in tiny spots makes you a prime target due to the distinct sound the comes from a high ROF gun. Also the 130 spring cut down allows me to be right under 400fps with a .25  for field play (if not then can be easily cut down futher to fit criteria.) Plus as stated the gun already has the upgraded Classic Army motor in it that will handle up to a 135 spring. But thanks for the advice.
