Thank you Joe and Matt for the info on Sniping, and to awnser your questions im currently located in rolla,mo which is a good 100 miles away from springfield but i plan on going to msu for college so hopefully after may 24 i can get started on that, at this point i have no gear so as my rank right now that is what i am. I have the money for some good gear, i just need to buy it. Id only be able to participate in certian events, casue my work has me working crazy hours, but before i get the gear i have a couple questions
1. Matt, what kind of special permission would i have to be a team sniper
2. what kind of enviroments do we play in "woods, Urban,etc.."
3.do we just play in missouri or do we also go to other states and play?
4. and what is the age requirement to play, becasue my cousin will be starting up when he also gets the cash and he is 15.
1. as for the permissions most courses require you te be known or haqve a certain amout of airsoft experience because the sniper rifles are so high poweredthey can hurt people if used inproperly.
2. some people get together woods games for private play, we invite aq few people down here to WP every now and then, and SA(springfield airsoft) usually does a monthly event. SoGo is a CQB in ozark which is just a stones throw from springfield and has a shop there too. mostly i've seen CQB action and i'm sure most people are about the same.
3. Tere are out of state events i have not had the pleasure of going o one but some of the guys travel to see some actions there.
4. i do believe your cousin will be perfectly able to play at SOGO not sure about SA but joe could answer that better.

Rolla seems to be full of Airsofters. Problem is Springfields 2 hours, Fulton is 1.5 hours, STL is 2 hours,  NWA is freakin 3.5 (on a good day). Rolla has a bunch of small groups of airsofters who play on private property and are scared of each other. Rolla Sucks for Airsoft. Anyway, Good to know you Westy.

I Possibly have Land big enough to hold a turnament around the area of rolla but it would be after New Dawn.

Guys I see Joe has taken a day off of here. lol  So I will do it.  Please keep this thread on topic.  It is better when anybody needs to look up a member to just go down all the intro's but now we have to read past all of these posts. (Not that it is a bad thing.)  Just a bad thing in this thread.  Move to PM's or start a new thread Under General Airsofting since thise seems to be a regional discussion of places to play.

Thanks guys,
Jon

Hello, My name is Adam and have been playing paintball for a couples years, but have recently became interested in airsoft. I'm 25 and live in Mansfield, so I'm about 1 hr from West Plains, and 1 hr from sogo. Would like to get out and play some airsoft with some of you guys. Also just wondering, Is there any type of game at Bill Bailey's field any time soon?

Hello, my name is Jaymes. I am brand new to the world of airsoft, i needed a new hobby and in my vast research (codmf1,2, and black ops) i decided on airsoft. So get ready to answer my increasingly annoying questions and i hope to see a lot of you around

Its me again,

Chris Holman,
also known as Anrkii, Ive been in the SA for about 5 years or so.
Ive taken a couple of years off to embark on the most extreme adventure of all: Parenthood.
Anyways, the little one is 17mos old now, and I can get out of the house once-in-awhile to shoot people again.

My primary focus is Eastwind, and other large milsim events.
I also build custom launchers, mortars, mines, and other devices. I have a knack for pneumatics.

I am looking forward to some outdoor games, the sooner the better, too!
