Your Favorite Gun in your Arsenal and Why?

Hey guys i just wanted to start this thread cause i was just talking to Jon about Betsie(my first 552) and how much i loved the gun. It just got me thinking the one thing everyone talks about is what they like love and explain the Specs on it and all, but the thing is not very many people explain why they like it or if there was a particular story to there gun. Like where they got it... how they got it... stuff like that. I mean let me give an example of what im talking about.
       1)Favorite Gun - Betsie my 552
       2) The Reason - I love betsie cause of the weight and the mobility. I can take her anywhere and still be great it doesnt matter. I love the fact that there arent that many out there either... i mean sure there are some out there but i mean most of the time in a the field of m4s, AKs, m16s, g36's the sig stands out. Example this weekend not a single person that saw me with my g36cv said anything to me. But the second i put my 552 on my sling and dangled it infront of me... i got "Hey nice sig" ... "I like your sig" ... "What brand is your Sig". I dont know i just like being unique i guess.
       3) Story Behind My Favorite Gun - Betsie became betsie because well... i had an ex that was a complete *B* and her name was betsie. Thats not the story though... the story is like this. When i first got into airsoft insta fell in love with the sport soooo i wanted to get my favorite gun on counter-strike THE MP5 so i bought a cyma mp5... junk! Now keep in mind that was in 2002... So as the years went on i got more into Airsoft at this time i was playing call of duty modern warfare(the first one) and the g36c was like my fav thing in the world. So my friend from the army was coming in to FLW to do AIT and he wanted to play airsoft down at sogo... so we went the PX and bought 2 guns both of which were Double Eagle's... well i bought the Double Eagle m83(g36c) loved it amazing first timer gun. So when jon told me that since i have been coming around alot that i should think about upgrades. So me and my friend shaun were looking for guns that we liked Shaun found this EBAY refurb shop that does airsoft guns. I asked him to get me a g36c... he didnt. He got me a Cybergun 552... which i was like ill give it a try. After useing it for the first time in sogo... i couldnt stop but laugh everytime i shot it... i mean i laughed all the time. I even have myself on camera... dancing with my sig. The mobility... the crossing to the weak side...the sound of it... the feel of the grips....the voice of the people i was shooting... omg it is amazing. SO then on i realized that this gun was a *B* hence ... betsie!
           Well as you can see i had a little bit more to say then i really should have but... the point being made was how and what kind of things i thought we could mention. Just to see what kind of stories are out there about peoples guns. Now you can pick all the guns in your aresnal but make different replies for each one if you dont mind. I really want to see how many of you have names for your favorite gun.

     1) Favorite Gun - My shotty (haven't given it a nickname yet)
     2) My first night I went to SoGo, I was rocking a single shot shotgun because my JG m4 is no where near cqb legal.  I had just sold an extra gun I got in a mystery box to Rev, and as part of our trade he gave me part of his in store credit.  After about an hour or so of running around and shooting people with my single shot, I decided to take a break and go look around the SoGo shop.  When I went in I saw this really awesome looking shotty on the wall and I asked if I could touch it, and as soon as I had it I knew I wanted it.  I loaded the shells up and stepped into the fray, crept around and found my first victim, I brought my sites up and BOOM target down (I giggled).  The rest of the night went by and I went through all my shells multiple times and I was just ecstatic.  I love my shotty, I am a life long CQB fan because of it and I would use it as my field back up any day of the week.

Favorite gun... TM 1911 MEU
I love this gun primarily because of its reliability i have had no problem that wasnt a one step fix, the gun is amazingly accurate for a stock gun, the sights are Novak's blank which leaves room for me to put my own style of dots on them (used the glow in the dark paint for night sights awesome idea joe love them!), its has ambidextrous safeties which is a must for me, you can rack to slide back from the locked position and the slide will go back forward every time, adjustable trigger, beaver tail safety, lanyard loop, triangle hammer, checkerd front, and i am currently making custom Micarta grips for it... will post pictures when im done also the gun is completely customizable you can change just about any part out of this gun for a steel or upgraded part

My KSC Glock 19 (with G26 inner barrel)

Reliability, gas consumption, and accuracy is through the roof. Everything (even the weight) is perfect for doing practical training in lieu of our real Glock 19.

And of course when I stick it in my smooth black leather shoulder rig...it's just plain sexy.

I'd probably have to give the 'favorite' award to my tacticool CYMA AK74U. Not that I don't absolutely love some of my other guns, it's just that I find myself wielding that gun more than any other.

Reason) It's small and fairly light weight yet it still has the range to overcome most other guns on the field. I gutted the gun almost immediately after I got it and made it to where it was like a Chevy inside the gearbox....Like a ROCK! Now I've installed R-Hop in it and the BB's are still flying flat when I loose site of them so It's even more of a beast than before. I also upgraded the externals some adding a RIS, 249 style motor grip, Aimpoint T1 replica, Magpul RVG, and Magpul XTM rail covers.

Choose my favorite airsoft gun?  That's like asking me to choose my favorite child.

I have sorta-named one of mine.  The gun is an AK that would not work and gave me no end of problems.  I began referring to her as "The Russian Bitch".  Happy ending:  a friend of mine got her up and running.

But she's still "The Russian Bitch".

Nice Joe i like the name though for sure. Makes me think when you use the term "screeming" when refering to your bbs out of the gun... its going to paint a whole new picture in my mind.

I'll go ahead and jump in I guess, as of now, my favorite gun would have to be my Magpul FPG. Mainly because it's a whole different thing on the field compared to M4s and other AEGs, and I am one attention wh**e.

But, I find this gun to be decently accurate, extremely light, and my Glock mags fit!

I always thought the FPG was an interesting little device. "Don't notice me, just walking along with my inconspicous mini briefcase, doo doo dee doo." Kerrachit, bam bam bambambam. "Oops, it appears every has died except for me, how fortuitous!"

Now, as for my favorite airsoft gun anyone who was around for the dual wielding thread can tell you I have some serious love for the Beretta 92FS. Not the railed tacticool M9sofomgwtfbbq that I see everywhere, though there's nothing wrong with them, I happen to love the Metal Gear Solid 2 Tranq M9. No, I'm talking about the plain jane 92FS, sidearm of the LAPD as well as many police and militaries around the world. My 92FS is made by KJW, and I think it's great. I have had several of these over the years and they have always performed admirably for me. Plus, it's my namesake's pistol even though it's never been an authorized carry piece of the NYPD. It's a solid gun, looks awesome, and it can hold 24 rounds in a double stack magazine though I usually only load 16 or so. I like to KNOW when my magazine is empty. Don't believe the awesomeness? Now, I do have to give honorable mention to another pistol that has a special place in my cold, dead heart. This here happens to be John Moses Browning's greatest design and took me several years and many, many, many swear words to get right. It is a WE bog standard 1911 customized into my best attempt at the custom .45 that Snake carries in the videogame Metal Gear solid 3. I have been working on the loadout for a couple of years and the pistol was always the hardest part. However, a bright shining light burst forth in my brain with the introduction of Jman and his thread about the custom WE .45 he was building. Again, that may just be the tumor talking. From reading his thread and talking to him at the October game last year, I was finally able to put it all together. Gentlemen, I present for your perusing pleasure the Snake Gun.

Feel free, my friend. I don't take airsoft or pretty much anything that seriously, and I like to show that in my posts. I'm like that really weird guy who shows up with all these weird project guns and goofy gimmick loadouts who takes nothing about the game seriously. Aww, crap, I AM that guy!!
