Shifty's right, it doesn't pay to compromise when it comes to protecting your eyes. I want a pair of Wileys so bad it hurts, but with me being the sole breadwinner in a family of five, my current budget just simply cannot afford them. If you're in a constant cash crunch like me, it can be a real chore trying to find reliable, low end eye protection. The best cheap product I've found are tree cutters goggles called "BUGZ". They're basically a thickly padded pair of swimming goggles with tough mesh lenses. They've got an elastic strap and won't fall off, the foam fits comfy, so you hardly know they're there, and I've personally tested them from 2ft away w/.20g at 400fps with NO mesh failure! They're both OSHA and ANSI certified, and at only $15 a pair, they won't break the bank.
