Need help
« on: September 17, 2013, 07:14:22 PM »
I apologize if this is posted in the wrong section. I didnt know quite where to post this.

I just bought a couple of airsoft. One being a D91 Uzi the other is a pistol but I cant for the life of me figure out what it is. The clip has a metal piece inside of it, making it very heavy and they way it cocks, it suggests C02 but I dont know. Heres some pictures of the said pistol. Thanks in advance:

Ok Im not use to posting pictures thru a post on a forum so Im new to say the least. Im hoping these show up so u can c what Im talking bout. Also if I did this wrong, please let me know!

Thanks
Takira

heres some more pixs of the mag in different angle plus i tried to get a good pix of the inside of the mag as well. Idk how well that will turn up:

Without having it in hand, I can't really tell, but it looks like you bought a Double Eagle Springer Pistol. That metal weight your talking about is a lead weight placed in the gun to help simulate a RS gun weight. If the gun was CO2 Powered it will have a Port in the bottom of the mag, which by your pictures it doesn't have.

Probably if the mag is empty, my first gun did. Otherwise if its not it may have something broke or hanging it up. I dont have alot of experience with CO2 powered or Spring pistols and have really only seen a couple. Put a couple of BB's in the mag and see if the slide returns back to its forward position.

Ahh, the world of cheap springer pistols. I believe that model may be know as the "phone booth" gun, as you will need to be in a phone booth with somebody to actually hit them. All kidding aside, Helix's advice is pretty solid. Put some ammo in it. If that doesn't solve the problem, then it may be done for. I've used enough springer pistols to know that if you want quality or reliability, you'll have to buy UHC or KWC. Some of the newer ones coming out by Crosman may be ok as well, but your mileage may vary.
