What do you guys think about this gun? This is the new gun I want, but I wanted to run it by the forum before I bought anything. Any comments, suggestions or ideas would be great!

Anything made by g&g is good by me. I think the major thing is if u are having plans on upgrades cause from what I have seen from g&g there internals are amazing to say the least. Good thing about this buy is you don't have to worry to much on upgrades. Like I said earlier I think it's a great price and I'm sure that Jon and sock could help u out aswell

my gun is built off of a combat machine but i disabled the blowback cause it sucks and is annoying but after i did that i have had no problems with it what makes the blow back annoying is when you go to upgrade you have to take the blowback all apart which sucks but for the price and how well they are build i think they are the best for starting out

I agree that electric blowbacks are more problems than what they are worth.
You can call and see what G&G's we are getting in.  Adam will have that info.  We will be placing mroe orders with them very soon.  I just wanted to get the ball rolling with our first order from G&G directly instead of going through a middle man.  Hopefully we will save everybody a little money by doing that.

(off topic) If you could get in some type of G&G AK's I would very much like to check one out!(on topic)

As everyone has said, G&G has great internals! They certainly have plenty of experience with their M4s!

G&G makes a pneumatic blowback, not electirc. G&G's blowback has THE best track record of any blowback (non GBB) of any brand. The G&G pneumatic system just bleeds a little bit of the air compressed by the piston inside the cylinder to shove another little piston back that has the fake bolt carrier on it. It's a very simple and very effective design that DOES NOT effect your FPS despite what people think. I got a GR16 once upon a time, and right out of the box that bad boy was shooting 420fps with the stock M110 spring and it was blowback. I couldn't have it that hot, so I threw in a M100 and it's still shooting ~380fps to this day after being in use for well over a year.

Jon IS right about the true electric blowbacks though. They just add unnecessary stress to your internal GB parts, the tappet plate in particular if I remember right.

I knew a kid that got the regular G&G CM non blowback and his shot pretty low at around 320fps. Well he later fried the wiring by bypassing the in-line fuse. He gave it to me to fix, and since he had just started in airsoft I cut him a break and improved his airseal (minus the air nozzle). With the same exact spring and yet one more key area to still seal the air off his gun jumped in velocity up to ~360fps. Also I should note that even the G&G CM's come factory with a tightbore and easily one of THE best hopup buckings on the market.

It's mind boggling that G&G sells some of their CM's for cheaper than JG, Echo1 and other similar companies sell their stuff for.

Blow backs on a AEG ...

Bleh.  First off, I've yet to hold one that even remotely feels "realistic", or makes even a realistic "sound".

The pneumatics are "better"... but it's still a waste of space, as it still doesn't have enough "realism" to make em worth it. Maybe, they will improve the system at some point though.

yet, it's becomming increasingly difficult to find G&gs with-out a BB system in em. Seems it' s become a "standard" .. which I find a slight annoyance.
The biggest annoyance, is having to deal with the electric versions when putting the gear box back together.  In fact, on mine.. I simply disabled it.
the BB option, does nothing to add or take away from FPs, or operation... save the electric BBs do drain more juice from the battery. ( count on half a MAH per BB fired to be "used". Like 1000 MAH should grant you around 1000 shots, roughly. 1000 MAH with a E-BB feature... more like 700-ish.) Plus, they hammer the tappet plate... why? I dunno, but expect tappet plate repairs eventually.

I say, if you want "realism" buy a decent GBBR ... the We g36 gbbr ... IMPRESSED me.( I now a person that has one... and it seems reliability is one of the best I've found in GBBRs stock, even with the fact, he's been abusing it to try and tear it up to see how long it last. It's a We though, and a gas hog by default.)  I also liked the KA GBBRs when Jon let me test fire em... if it wasn't for the other "issues" with them, I'd already have bought one. That's because the recoil on em, even though still not real steel in effect, makes shooting em very fun.

I've "heard" from several pneumatic BB  users , that "claim " their BB feature, does indeed sound and feel better , more realism akin to a GBBR.   I've actually not personally seen this first hand, or been able to tell much a difference in an AEG that doesn't have BB at all.  More sound yes... more realistic feel? Not that I can tell.

But for a G&G AEG, that gun is a nice gun.
I can't say you'd be un-happy with it out of the box.

Yeah, the pneumatic blow back doesn't really add or take away anything. It is kinda cool though. I honestly could take it or leave it. G&G makes such an afordable gun WITH the blow back that it's kind of a 'why not' thing.

I know someone personally that has the G&G Raider (CQB length) and loves it. He said his shot right around 360fps out of the box and had just as much accuracy and range as his KWA SR12 with an upgraded tightbore barrel in it. The only issue you're run into with the crane stock is the batteries. You'll HAVE to have a nunchuck or crane stock specific battery. Jon should be able to get you one of those easy peasy and for cheap. I'd say go with an Intellect 9.6v 1600mah nunchuck. The nunchuck isn't soo crane stock specific that you couldn't easily use it in other guns.
